To enjoy all that this small town has to offer, our Hotel Tao Cotillo is an ideal option if you are looking for a quieter holiday stay, rather than the traditional tourist spots, whether alone, as a couple, as a family or with your group of friends. We are a tourist complex with a relaxed environment where you can have a swim in our adult and children's pool and on the beach, very close to our facilities, but without giving up the proximity to the town center, which offers a wide range of services such as restaurants, supermarkets, local services and very close to public transport.

Accommodations

Tao Cotillo stands out for the privacy and intimacy of its accommodations, with capacity for up to 4 people and with one or two bedrooms.

1 AND 2 BEDROOM APARTMENT

All the apartments are large and comfortable. Almost all facing the pool area. All apartments have the main bedroom with a double-bed and a large closet, ideal for long stays.
We have one bedroom apartments and two typologies of two-bedroom apartments, one with a single bedroom and one with a double bedroom (two single beds).
Each accommodation has a large and fully equipped kitchen sharing space with the living room; a nice bathroom with tub or shower, hairdryer and towels.

The living room is spacious and very bright. It includes a sofa-bed and a 28inch flat TV. The terrace has furniture and views over the pool and/or the surroundings of the complex.
Each apartment has a washing machine and clothesline.

Reception service

Our reception service will receive you warmly in the morning and will provide you with all the details you need about your accommodation, the surroundings and your visit to the island. You can access easily thanks to a private key box, of which you will receive a code to enter. For any questions do not hesitate to call us.

Solarium pools

The adult´s and children´s pool area, located in the heart of Tao Cotillo, in an area equipped with sun beds and umbrellas there you can enjoy a carefree swim thanks to the protection it offers against the trade winds of the island.

Free Parking

Outside we have free parking next to a supermarket and an area to wash the surfboards with fresh water after a day of sport.

Location

You will find TAO Cotillo right at the entrance of the town. We are well connected to the rest of the island by bus, with a bus stop about 500 meters away, or by taxi or car on the FV-10 road.

The typically marine architecture of this fishing village and it´s beautiful natural environment will remain in your memory forever. On the old pier, 3 minutes away, you can see the fishermen in their boats return from the sea, and buy fresh fish, also in the restaurants in the area enjoy some of the local gastronomic secrets such as mojo, wrinkley potatoes, the fish stew or the Canarian wine. If you are a lover of popular traditions, we recommend you come in the summer season, when the streets of Cotillo are filled with celebration and fun of the local festivals.

At 500 meters on foot, next to the Castle of Tostón, an old fortress of the SXVIII, you can contemplate the impressive views of the cliffs of the west coast. Piedraplaya beach is ideal for a long walk or to practice water sports with one of Cotillo surf schools. Nearby, the wind mills remind us of the cereal tradition of the island.
The famous laguitos beaches, their white sands and transparent waters extend to the Cotillo lighthouse, a 10-minute walk away. An ideal area to spend an entertaining day in a natural environment that will fascinate you. For the athletes, from the Tao Cotillo you can access an ideal bike track for both families and professionals
We invite you to enjoy the best and most photographed sunsets of the island from any of these points or from a restaurant, from a chill out bar in the area or even on horseback at the nearby farm.
